In honor of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act in 1964 City Walks sponsors the Black Heritage & Civil Rights Heritage Walking Tours for the city's first company specializing in Black History tours... St. Augustine Black Heritage Tours Inc. These hour long walking tours are offered monthly on select Saturdays, and explore the Lincolnville Historic District and other areas involved in this unique heritage of St. Augustine. We're very proud to consistently be the Historic Walking Tour company numerous organizations and companies choose to partner with in St. Augustine! FREE Plaza Stroll

Historic Walking Tours

St. Augustine is rich with influences from many different cultures and nations throughout our history. At City Walks, our mission is to share these stories with you. Our Plaza Stroll Historic Walking Tours are the perfect way to learn about the town with new friends! Enjoy a guided 1 hour walking tour where you'll learn all about the various cultural influences that have left their marks here, explorers and entrepreneurs through the centuries, famous personalities that have called St. Augustine home and also discover the secrets of the Plaza and its beautiful monuments.

NOTE: Our regularly scheduled Plaza Strolls are always offered FREE as part of the City Walks commitment to inspiring our visitors to value & cherish cultural heritage tourism sites, both here and around the world.

Your Pet Walk Pup Crawl Tour departs from our Tour Saint Augustine Inc. reception office located at 4 Granada Street, which runs north/south along the Lightner Museum complex, in the heart of the beautiful Flagler Era Historic district. Your tour begins at 10:00 am on the second Saturday of each month, so be sure to check-in at least 15 minutes prior. Parking is recommended in the Villa Zorayda lot at 83 King St., or any of the convenient City car parks located behind the Lightner Museum and adjacent streets. Parking rates vary seasonally. Reservations are required as our tours are limited to only 25 humans only per tour per city ordinance and reservations are made first-come, first-serve. Our tour operates Rain or Shine – bring an umbrella! Cancellations are only in the event of severe weather. You will be meandering our ancient city streets, so please wear comfortable shoes. Please note that especially as this is a free tour, tips to your tour guide are graciously appreciated if you enjoy your tour.

FREE Pet Walk Pup Crawl

Here at City Walks, we LOVE our furry friends! That's why we offer this FREE Pet Walk PUP Crawl the second Saturday of each month. Explore the timeless streets of St. Augustine and hear tales of the city's rich history while touring with your beloved pets. This guided walking tour is approximately an hour in length and covers several square blocks of the downtown plaza area. All pets must be on leashes and all city ordinances are followed. This is a GREAT way to share quality time with "man's best friend" while exploring St. Augustine. While tours are offered for free, space is limited to 25 humans per city ordinance, so we recommend booking early to reserve your space in advance.
